Launching introductory training courses on choosing a specialty for high school graduates

This Saturday morning, the President of the University, Dr. Nasser Al-Mofari, along with the Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Fouad Hanash, and in the presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Professor Dr. Saleh Al-Dhaheri, inaugurated a program of introductory training courses on choosing a specialty for high school graduates, organized by the University’s Marketing and Media Department.
During the inauguration of the first group, the university president welcomed the students and congratulated them on reaching this important and significant academic stage in the student’s life, and urged them to choose the university major that suits their inclinations, abilities, and passions, and enables them to achieve their goals and ambitions, and to benefit from the course in choosing the appropriate major.
He pointed out that the university is keen to provide the best services to students, provide them with the appropriate environment for learning and excellence, and works to hone their skills and abilities through training and practical application, noting that the university has a variety of specializations that meet the needs of the labor market.
The courses, which target high school graduates, whether this year or previous years, aim to teach how to choose a major in a systematic, scientific manner, as well as introducing students to the various available university majors, the conditions for admission to each major, the requirements and trends of the labor market in each field, and how to prepare for university study.
The first session was presented today by Professor Abdulkarim Al-Bakali, and the upcoming courses will be presented by a group of experts and specialists in the field of university education, the labor market, and vocational guidance. The dates of the upcoming courses will be announced on the university’s social media sites.
